7.00am         Hotel/motel pick ups commence

7.10am         Check in at Discover New Zealand Travel Centre (opposite the Ferry Building)

7.45am         Tour departs for Bay of Islands, morning tea and rest stop en route.  Continue through Northland's only 

                     city and major port, Whangarei.

11.45am       Arrive Bay of Islands.  Enjoy a guided walk through the historic Waitangi Treaty House and grounds. 

                     Please keep with your guide.

1.15pm         For Day Tour passengers - Excitor Boat

1.30pm         Check in with Fullers at the Maritime Building and enjoy some leisure time before your cruise.

2.00pm         Depart on your exhilarating journey to Cape Brett and the famous 'Hole in the Rock'.

4.00pm         Return to Paihia.

4.15pm         Check in with you Great Sights coach at the Maritime Building, Paihia Wharf for your return to journey

                      to Auckland.

8.00pm         Arrive Discover New Zealand Travel Centre, hotel/motel drop offs commence.

GS9E DESCRIPTIVE ITINERARY      

This tour begins with the “Discover the Bay” tour.  After visiting the Waitangi Treaty Grounds, the Fast Boat Company will take you on a 90-minute adventure of fun and exhilaration to Cathedral Cove (“Hole in the Rock”).  Travel at speed to points of interest where you will receive informal commentary and the opportunity to take photos.  Return by coach to Auckland.  Packed lunch included.

11.45am       Arrive Bay of Islands.  You will be dropped off at the Maritime Building, Paihia Wharf.  Please check in at the  Fullers office for your 'Swim with the Dolphins' adventure. Leisure time before you part.

12.30pm      Depart on your ultimate marine adventure aboard a jet-powered catamaran.  Enjoy dolphin viewing from the large deck areas where you'll have plenty of room to move around.  As well as dolphins, at times you'll see Orcas, whales, seals, penguins and other wildlife.  After your Dolphin Adventure you'll have the added bonus of stopping on beautiful Urupukapuka Island.  Complimentary use of snorkels, goggles, fins and wetsuits when required.  Lunch and a hot drink provided.  On arrival at Paihia, please go directly to the front of the Maritime Building to meet your Great Sights Coach.

4.15pm        Board your Great Sights coach at the Maritime Building, Paihia Wharf for your return to journey to Auckland.

8.00pm        Arrive Discover New Zealand Travel Centre, hotel/motel drop offs commence.
